What to Expect During Your Sewer Repairs
When you call McNabb Plumbing, we’ll discuss your problem and look to get a feel for what the cause may be. Sometimes, you may know what’s wrong, and other times you have water leaking somewhere and you’re just not sure of anything else. No worries! We’ll gather as much information about your problem as possible and work with you to identify a time that fits your schedule where we can come out to see the problem in person.
Typically speaking, one of our plumbers will arrive on-scene within a day of your call (or sooner, in the event of an emergency) and will look at the problem with you. We’ll provide you an estimate of the work we’ll do and make sure to discuss the project with you in its entirety–there are no hidden fees or charges you’ll “find out about later.”
During every visit, our plumbers wear protective gear that protects your house during our visit, as the last thing we’d ever want to do is create more trouble for you. We use non-invasive, infrared technology to look at leaks and pipes behind your walls, and we go to great lengths to minimize our impact in your home.
We will most likely ask you to turn off your water before we arrive, and if you have leaks or flooding, then you may have already done this. If you can’t find the stop-cock, then the first thing that the plumber will do upon arrival is turn off your water.
Then we will examine the problem. This might take a while, depending upon where the problem is coming from. Our plumbers might need to lift up boards in order to find the cause of your problem, or will have to go into the attic or crawl space, looking at all of the plumbing. Don’t worry, we’re very good at being as noninvasively as possible and returning your home to the same condition (or better) which we found it.
Our plumbers should be able to tell you what parts are needed to correct the problem, and approximately how long it will take to repair or replace. None of this is written in stone, of course, but it will give you an idea of what to expect.
Both during and following the work, your plumber and our office staff will consult you on what is happening. If any changes need to be made, they will tell you, and will not consider the job complete until you have signed off on the work.
100% Satisfaction Guarantee
If you are not 100% satisfied with the service we have provided, (barring cost) we will refund your money. If our plumbers smoke or are disrespectful in your home, are not drug tested, or leave your home without cleaning up, you do not pay for the service. If a repair or equipment that we have provided and installed fails in the first year, we will repair it again–no charge.
